System970 is ahighly scalable IP-Analog Hybrid Matrix Surveillance System managed by the WV-ASC970 IP Matrix Management ServerSoftware.
A domain managed by a WV-ASC970 can contain an analogmatrix system and an IP matrix system that are eventually integrated to be ahybrid system. Anaog only or IP only system can also be designed depending onthe application requirement.
Any of the analog and IP cameras can be displayed on anyof the analog monitors or IP image displays (WV-ASM970 client and WJ-GXD400output) through the IP/Analog video links and can be operated with the WV-CU950 system controllers or WV-ASM970 client software seamlessly.
Single WV-ASC970 server allows up to 1023 i-Pro devices,512 monitor screens and 64 recorders in IP only or hybrid system and Up to 1536analog cameras, 320 analog monitors and 64 recorders in analog only system.
Further more, Up to 64 domains can be connected to form asatellite matrix surveillance system that is capable of monitoring and controlcameras at any satellite site at the local operation point.
Scalable architecture of System970 also allows buildinga wide range of system from small to large and smooth migration from analog toIP surveillance system.
System970 is an ideal solution for integrated IP and Analog Matrix SurveillanceSystem.
Note: One domain requires one or two (redundant) WV-ASC970 server and can contain one analog matrix system and i-Pro system or two analog matrix systems (Matrix850 and Matrix650).
i-Pro- Analog Matrix Hybrid System
Up to 1024 analog cameras/256 analog monitors (Matrix850) or 512 analog cameras/64 analog monitors (Matrix650) and 1023 i-Pro devices can be integrated.
i-Pro encoders and decoders in the system can also expand the number of analog cameras and monitors.
Any of the IP cameras in the i-Pro node can be monitored with any of the analog monitors in the Matrix850/650 node through the WJ-GXD400 decoders.*1
Any of the analog cameras in the Matrix850/650 node can be monitored with WV-ASM970 clients and HD display connected to the WJ-GXD400 decoders through WJ-NT304/314 encoders.*2
Monitoring, control and system log management of the registered units can be made centrally with the WV-ASM970 client software and WV-CU950 system controllers.

Any of the analog cameras (up to 1024) in the Matrix850 node can be monitored with any of the analog monitors (up to 64) in the Matrix650 node through the analog video links. *1

Multi-Site System
Multiple domains each of that include one WV-ASC970 server can be connected together through the video links and network to make satellite matrix system. Cameras and alarms of up 64 domains can be monitored and controlled at the operation point of each domain. Camera selection including analog cameras and IP cameras can be made with the logical number using WV-ASM970 or WV-CU950. For example 1st camera of the 2nd site can be camera 20,001and1st alarm of the 2nd site can be alarm 20,001instead of the next of the last number of the site1.
User FriendlyOperation
System970can be operated with the WV-ASM970 client software or WV-CU950 systemcontrollers seamlessly.
WV-ASM970 client software provides two display outputs such as Operation/MapDisplay and Image Viewing Display (1/4/7/9/10/13/16 split), enabling userfriendly operation.
The Operation/Map Display is designed to allow similar operability as Panasonichardware system controllers so that the operators familiar with the Panasoniccontrollers can easily migrate to the IP surveillance system.
Multiscreen areas of the WV-ASM970 can work as individual monitors and can alsobe controlled by the WV-CU950 System Controllers.
Camera control and Recorder control can also be made with the WV-CU950 with3D-Joy stick and Jog/Shuttle, allowing intuitive operations.
H.264/MPEG-4/JPEG compatible
WV-ASM970and WJ-GXD400 supports H.264, MPEG-4 and JPEG images from i-Pro series so thatvarious i-Pro camera models from different generations can be displayedtogether in a multiscreen and can make the most of the advantage of the latesti-Pro H.264 cameras. Each camera displayed in a multiscreen can be displayed atup to 30 ips allowing to capture the decisive moment (depending on the cameraand mode).

Pan/Tilt/Zoom/Iris can also be controlled by the optional system controller WV-CU950 with 3D-Joy stick. (function depending on the camera model)
Recorder Control
Recorder control such as record and playback including up to 7 speeds for fast forward/reverse can be made with the WV-ASM970 or WV-CU950 with Jog/Shuttle.REC event search and record download can be made with the WV-ASM970.
Note: Playback speed options depend on the recorder model.
REC Event Search
Recorded images from multiple recorders can be searched simultaneously by various search criteria including Camera number, Time & Date and Event Type, improving management efficiency. Search result is displayed widely in the map display area and can be sorted by camera number, event type or time/date so that the desired record can easily be found.
Dynamic Resolution Control
System970 controls size of the image from cameras depending on the size of the multiscreen area to optimize image quality and network traffic.
WV-ASM970: Image size for multiscreen areas can be programmed depending on the size of the multiscreen areain JPEG mode. Stream1 or 2 displayed in the multiscreen areas can be programmed depending on the size of the multiscreen areain H.264 or MPEG-4 mode.
WJ-GXD400: Stream1 or 2 displayed in multiscreen areas can be programmed depending on the size of the multiscreen areain H.264 or MPEG-4 mode.4VGA or VGA is automatically selected depending on the multiscreen area size in JPEG mode.
Note; Stream selection is available when the camera supports dual motion streams.
Operation with WV-CU950
Camera/Monitor selection including analog cameras, IP cameras, analog monitors and IP monitors can be made with the logical number using WV-CU950.
For example, 1st camera of the 2nd node can be camera 2001 instead of the next of the last camera number of node1.
The cameras can also be switched sequentially by using "+ or -" button. Tour Sequences/Group preset/Group sequence selection, Camera control and Recorder control can also be made with the WV-CU950 with 3D-Joy stick and Jog/Shuttle, allowing intuitive operations.
Group Preset
Multiple cameras and monitors assignment can be programmed and activated by one operation. For example camera 1-22 can be displayed on 16 split screen of the WV-ASM970 and 6 split screen of theWV-GXD400 by one operation. Multiple cameras can also be displayed on the analog monitors through the analog matrix switcher. A group preset can include analog cameras, IP cameras, analog monitors and IP monitors, enabling seamless hybrid operations.
Up to 64 Group Preset programs each with up to 32 cameras/monitors are available.
Flexible Alarm Handling
System970 supports flexible alarm handling including up to 1024 alarm programs per domain. Various alarm sources include up to 1024 terminal inputs (Matrix850/650, Recorders and i-Pro devices), 2047 camera alarms including VMD, i-VMD, Video analytic, Scene change detection, Terminal inputs and Panasonic alarm command, 1536 video loss alarms (Matrix850/650), 1024 RS-232C alarms, recorder errors and camera communication errors. An alarm program can activate up to 10 actions including Camera spot with preset position, Tour Sequence, Group Sequence and Terminal outputs. Each action can be assigned to one of the 128 targets, which includes up to 128 monitors, so that the multiple actions can effectively be displayed across the alarm target monitors. An alarm terminal output can be triggered when an alarm is activated, acknowledged or reset.
Arm/Disarm control of the alarms can be made in the setup menu of the ASM970 or by the WV-CU950.
Note: The figures for alarm sources are the maximum of each segment and may not be usable at a time.
Camera alarm source availability depends on the camera and encoder model.
Total of terminal inputs and outputs is 1024.
User Management
Sophisticated user management includes Global/Local Operator Privilege, up to 20 local operator levels, 4 global operator levels, operator to controller partitioning, controller to camera/monitor/alarm/recorder/group-sequence partitioning and up to 65000 operator/alarm/schedule-event priorities. Up to 512 users can be registered per domain.
Flexible System Partitioning
System970 has flexible system partitioning and priority features allowing for advanced operation management.
Partitioning includes Controller to Area, Monitor, Camera view, Camera control, Group Sequence, Alarm, Alarm I/O, Recorder,
Operator-to-Controller and Monitor-to-Camera. System970 can also divide a domain by multiple areas that include Monitors, Controllers, Tour Sequences, Group Presets and Group Sequences. All these items, except controllers, can have a local number enabling the operators to select them by using a simpler reference number.
