The latest i-Pro Smart HD network dome camera from Panasonic, the Panasonic WV-SF138 Super Dynamic Mini HD Security Camera With Microphone is designed with signature Panasonic high reliability and features Mega Super Dynamic technology that delivers 128x broader dynamic range. Face Detection and Mega Super Dynamic range technologies ensure clear and well-focused facial images are always captured for consistently intelligible IDs. With the wide-angle lens at 0.5/64in. the lens provides an ultra-wide field of view giving end users a 100 degree shot at 3 megapixels in 4:3 image ratio. At 2 megapixels the camera still gets a 95 degree shot. This will significantly reduce the number of cameras needed to cover large areas and the added resolution lets users zoom in digitally for even more image quality.
The Panasonic WV-SF138 Super Dynamic Mini HD Security Camera With Microphone face detection allows the camera to adjust product focus to capture a person in shot and also use the XML data to trigger an alarm upon detection if using a compatible recorder. VIQS (Variable Image Quality on Specified Area) is the latest innovation to the Smart HD range; allowing the camera to have higher resolution only on specified areas of the image; meaning lower bandwidth. The ONVIF compliant SF138 provides 1080p HD images at up to 30 IPS and because the camera is powered by Panasonic UniPhier technology, concurrent H.264 and JPEG streams are transmitted meaning simultaneous real time monitoring and HD recording is possible
